I had to uninstall Avast virus on my laptops due to it slowing down my systems. Now, Windows defender says it can’t turn itself back on – get timeout error.
I have EasyPass so not sure that’s creating an issue too.

Did you use avastclear to remove avast ?

It should only uninstall the product you choose.
