how to uninstall anti theft from Kindle HD

I downloaded the avast! free app for my Kindle but never went through the setup and never added a recovery phone number. When I open the app, it asks me for a pin, which I don’t have because I never set one. I was told by one of the avast moderators that I need to uninstall the avast app AND uninstall the anti theft. Does anyone know how uninstall the anti theft?

it should be something along those lines:

“Go to Settings → Location and security → Select device administrators
and untick checkbox with the name you gave to your Anti-Theft profile or whatever.
Then go to Settings → Applications and uninstall the application.”

I never gave a name to the anti theft profile because I did not complete the set up process. There should be a way to completely remove the avast software and reinstall it if someone needs to start over like I do. I think I’ll move on to another product at this point. Thanks.

This is your fault since you didn’t complete the installation processes as well other instruction by AMS & AntiTheft.
