How to uninstall McAfee 10

A friend of mine has Mcafee 10 antivirus.Now he wants to remove it and install avast! but he can’t.Windows says there were some files missing and it can’t be uninstalled.Can you please give me a link for Mcafee uninstaller?Otherwise he is going to reinstall windows.

In this cases, I suggest the user reinstall or repair the old installation and then start removing through Control Panel.
After that, maybe a Registry Cleaner could help. I think there isn’t a McAfee uninstaller… :-\
