How to update my account, when I changed the name of my computer

Good day to all,

I am using Avast Pro and Internet Security into more than one computer. A while ago I changed the name of one of my computers, in order this to reflect its real use. The Avast Internet Security is installed on this PC. However, even after I restarted it and the new name has been applied, the name of this computer in my Avast account still remains unchanged.

I have been searching to find a way to update it, but I could not find one.

Can anyone tell me how to do the computer name update to my account?

Thanks, Eddy, for your response. When you say: “remove the device and add the new one” what do you actually mean? Do you mean that I have to remove the device manually from my account? The reason I want to clarify this is that all of my devices had automatically been added to my account, as soon as the program was installed. I believe that you do have noticed that in fact we are talking for the same device (PC) and that only its name was changed.

So, if I can do it manually, then there will not be any problem, it will be solved. But, can I really do it?
