Hi,
We’ve just taken on a clients server which was running Avast ADNM. The licence had expired so it hadn’t updated since 2007!!!
We’ve applied new licences and ran mirror.exe which updated successfully but the local mirror is still displaying ;

avast! Distributed Network Manager Mirror
Mirror folder: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Management Tools\Mirror\mirror
Mirroring products: av_mgm,av_net,av_pro
Current versions in mirror:
Avast! Distributed Network Manager: 4.7.657 (May 16, 2007)
avast! Network Client (managed): 4.7.700 (May 16, 2007)
Virus database: 071114-0 (Nov 14, 2007)
How can we pull down 4.8?
I’ve tried updating the ADNM using the Add/Remove programs and it’s at the latest version.
Do I need to rebuild the mirror?
Thanks

Any ideas?

Cool well it looks like it’s updated the InstTmpl folder over night and the client is now 4.8.
Is there a process I can kick off manually for this update to occur?
Thanks

Maybe it help: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=64469.0
at first, update ADNM console (via Add/Remove program) on your PC or server to actual version 4.8.995 (Feb 19, 2010)
