Hi

can somebody tell me how to resume a provider I have stopped by right cliking on the avast icon by the clock?.. I see there´s a resume option but it only works with paused providers

click on the avast! icon (spinning ball) and click on start on the provider you terminated, if that didn’t work, reboot your computer.

Or, if you can spare a few moments of relative insecurity, you could Stop on-access protection (from the icon menu) and then start it again. When it restarts (resident protection, that is), it ignores any previous Paused status and starts up fully active again.
