Hello. I have some problems with my laptop. I have tried to find a solution on other forums and websites, but no help so far. I really hope you can help me.
So this is what’s going on. Yesterday, I was on laptop, when all of a sudden, Windows Explorer stopped responding. I turned it off in processes, and went to restart my laptop, since this happened before. But this time, windows won’t reboot in normal mode. I tried again rebooting a few times, but still nothing. When the windows logo appears, it just stays on windows logo for about a minute and does nothing. After a minute, a blue screen appears with blue text, but only for half a second, so I cannot see what it says. After that screen, there is a black screen with 2 options: to start windows in normal mode or start startup repair. Startup repair also won’t work.
Then I tried turning on windows in safe mode and safe mode with cmd, and as there are drivers loading, it stops loading at aswRvrt.sys, stays there for a minute and then the same as in normal mode. Any other existing mode won’t boot up either. I see there are a lot of people with this exact problem, but nothing works for me so far, so I hope you can help me. I think the problem is in aswRvrt.sys, but it is just my opinion. I saw on an old post here, that essexboy said it is zero access infection, and that person’s problem is same as mine.

Thank you very much for your help and sorry for wasting your time. I will get my friend to work on it. He will reinstall Windows on it.
No problem, I would recommend that you make a USB with the recovery console on it though… It may come in handy
