Are there any noted problems HP’s DLA and avast! 4?
I’m unable to read discs that have been formatting with DLA or format new discs while Standard Shield is running. If I try, my comp restarts. I’m guessing this isn’t an actual compatibility issue, but just a scanning option that is causing the problem. I have Standard Shield set on High, with Blocker disabled.
Any suggestions? TIA!
What OS are you using?
Do you have “Scan files on open” or “Scan created/modified files” turned on? If yes, what happens when you disable this option?
Do you get the computer restart when you try to read a file, or right when you display the content of the CD?

I have both “Scan files on open” and “Scan created/modified files” turned ON. I’ve only experimented with disabling Standard Shield, not certain options.
It restarts right when the cd begins to be read.
