what infection name did avast give the file…
have you reported it to avast lab?
i not remeber, not send this at avast lab !
Next time remeber… as it is vital info to understand what and why
Is the file in virus chest?
avast update and say: win32: malware-gen !!
please say you this false/positive to avast lab ? VirusTotal say NOT INFECT !

Strange as that is a detection that should also show on a VT scan
Do you have the file in avast virus chest?
If so, right click the file in chest and rescan…is it still detected? … If not, right click and restore
If file is still detected…

i NOT send a request to avast lab… but now
AFTER 3 days …update now avast and it NOT say this file HP infect ! after 3 days !
