Full scan detected HRTZZM.EX_ as Win32:Malware-Gen in folder i386. File not modified since 2004 Also detected it in de Windows Xp Pro SPk 2 CD given to me by Dell. MBAM scan came out clean. SAS also clean. TDSSKiller no threats. Only G-Data and Avast detected it in VT. No suspicious activity in my comp.
Thanks for the input. This particular file HRTZZM.EX_ is a Microsoft Cabinet Archive Data. It comes in Folder i386 which I placed a copy in my C:\ drive in case I needed to sfc /scannow my drive I would not need the CD. It is also detected by Avast in the CD originally given to me by DeLL.
This file is not an executable so can not be analyzed by Anubis.
I am pretty sure the file is not infected. I reported it to Avast! already. I reported the file here and see if one of the members would at least try with an old XP CD an use Avast scan from Windows Explorer ( with all Packers ) and see if he/she gets the same result.
