HTML:RedirME-inf [Trj]?

I went onto a site I’ve been on before a while ago and i wanted to go back on it to see it and avast blocked it and it said the infection was HTML:RedirME-inf [Trj] but I’ve done some link scanners which all say it is clean so im not sure whether it is a false positive?

Can anyone help?

Its strange since whenever i type it in on google and click the first ponx.org it goes to the site i was talking about

Hi dan56997,

To what site are you referring to? If you indeed visited it from Google and avast! indeed blocked the URL, then you wouldn’t be connected to a site.

Using both .com and .co.uk Google referrers, I still managed to get the same result from Pondus’ link. You may also want to see: http://urlquery.net/report.php?id=658094

Sending the Google redirecting script to VirusToal, I get: https://www.virustotal.com/file/6305b3ef2fa1fd30ed7689d938e622f3814b6e89a84efa1fbccca468390937c9/analysis/1357769359/

We can then conclude that the domain or IP was blacklisted. Look here: http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/ponx.org/

And thus, avast! alerted.
