Hi Polonus,
Thanks for the links, bookmarked
I have to say though, I prefer this one: http://web-sniffer.net
I like the colour coding of the source code, makes it easier to read…
(another one of yours IIRC ;))

Hi spg SCOTT,
Thanks for your link as well.

Blocked by OpenDNS
Only if you have tweaked the OpenDNS as it doesn’t block it for me and I use OpenDNS and the dashboard, but my filtering extends only to phishing, malicious, etc.
Hi bob3160 and DavidR,
Why in their unfathomable wisdom did they block it. Is it abused by the curious/malcreants, or is it a risk?
Curious to know. You should read here also: http://gurpreetdubb.blogspot.com/2008/09/useful-tips-to-prevent-opendns-from.html
OpenDNS on your comp gives you Yahoo results in Firefox like in Flock, you have to work-around…

As I said they didn’t block it, if you left OpenDNS to its own devises, no problem.
If you the user selected a category into which web-sniffer.net fell then OpenDNS would block it as per your instructions/dashboard settings.
Thanks for the links, Polonus & Scott.
I’ll check it when I get back home.
No Problem
It will be interesting to see what category it falls into…

Hi folks,
And what about this check: http://www.adserverstatus.com/
Here you see if their dedicated or not, example:
http://www.dedicatedornot.com/sites/74.125.242.171

Hope this answers your question.
I had almost all those ad sites already blocked. Now, all of them are blocked.
Thanks, Polonus.
It gets blocked with hpHosts:

I’ll try it with HOSTS file disabled.
Edit: Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (MBAM) blocks the site with its IP protection.
