http://wpad.browserupdatecheck.in/wpad.dat and C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

I am not very tech savvy I installed the free version of avast last night and it keeps popping up http://wpad.browserupdatecheck.in/wpad.dat and it has different ones that come with it like C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe and some other ones. Anyway I tried malwarebytes anti malware and it didn’t catch it. I would super appreciate some assistance particularly from someone who is ok with helping a complete novice please and thank you!!!

it also has avastui.exe as one of the processes if that helps at all , just really need some help getting rid of this the notification is very persistent and i’ve tried just googling help and nothing seems to be working for me and I can’t afford to pay for the software the other sites are trying to get me to buy

Attach your basic diagnostic logs. (MBAM, FRST and aswMBR)
Instructions: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Here are the logs, the frst.txt and the addition.txt I’m still working on the aswMBR logs

OK, now you’ve to wait a bit…

Hi a few things first

  1. You are using both Avast and McAfee one of them must go
  2. I highly urge you to uninstall Hola as it is using you as a P2P node and using your bandwidth

Could you start FRST and in the search box copy/paste the following :

browserupdatecheck.in;wpad.dat

The press scan registry
A report will be generated please post that

ok i have it scanning now and i’ll go ahead and get rid of mcafee and hola

here is the search thanks for helping by the way
