Hung up on "Submitting File" during Update

Good Morning,

When running Avast Update this morning, I noticed it stops at a box called “Submitting File” after it’s downloaded the lastest from Avast. I believe it is attempting to submit information about some files Avast intercepted while on the internet, but the files never upload to Avast.

Since I’m sure it’s in our better interest for Avast to see these files, what can I do to correct the problem so that Update can send files when it wants to?

So if I understand this correctly, it’s a temporary problem. I’ll leave it until it submits.
