I have a question about something I saw on the Addition.txt on the last time the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool as ran to do fixes. What are the Hosts content? I saw a bunch of weblinks listed -Is that websites that has been visited from my comp?I’m curious because most of those I’ve not been to & I’m worried peeps have been using my comp without permission. Is there a way to block some of those site access from my comp?I’m going to reattach it so you can see it -I really don’t want ta post those links.

I’ll keep watch to see if I get that popup again. hoping t’s fixed.

That is part of Spybots host inoculation and they all lead to a dead end

Are the alerts still apparent ?

I’ve not seen any yet but I’ve not been online long today though.

Could you keep an eye on it and if it does not re-appear let me know and I will tidy up

will do - how long -about 24 hours?

Aye let me know tomorrow and I will tidy up

so far no more popups on my comp

In that case methinks I will send you on your merry way

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:
