I activated my free trial but when I want to use simething that is a premium feature, it doesn’t work and keeps bringing me back to the free version

There isn’t a great deal of information to work with.
Free trial of what product (assumption Avast Premium) ?
Right click the Avast tray icon and select About Avast, what does it show.

Plus what feature are you trying to use ?
As not all of the options are included in Avast Premium.
