i am getting a folder name microsoft frontpage in program files

i am getting a folder name microsoft frontpage in program files. i am unable to delete it(scanned through avast home edition ). i found it 2 days before. i started pc in safe mode to delete it and did it successfully…but in normal mode it appeared again i repeated the procedure again but after that i was not able to boot my pc…i formated it and installed xp… i am now using avast 4.8 home edition folder has again appeared it directories are c:\program files\ microsoft frontpage\version3.0\bin…

on deleting it say cannot delete bin it is used by other person…

please help

Do you use MS Office with FrontPage?

yes i do use but they all are in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office

Do you have IIS running? It can have FrontPage extensions installed. Exactly in this path.

no i m not running iis or apache

sumagrawal, I’m with Office 2007 (in a version without FrontPage). Sorry, can’t help further. But maybe you should submit the ‘strange’ files to www.virustotal.com to take a decision to delete them or scan your computer with on-line scanners.
