I can not play a video in disney+

Hi, I am using Windows 10 in a notebook.

I can use the avast secure browser to play a video in disney+ in the past months until this Monday.

Today, I want to play a video in disney+ again but it always shows an error code 83 to me.

But, I can use google chrome to play the same video in disney+ on the same PC at the same time.

Could you help to check if anything wrong for avast secure browser?

The version of avast secure browser is “102.1.17190.115 (64 bits)”.

  1. Open the browser and click on the menu icon (3 dots in the upright corner)
  2. Click on “Help and About Avast Secure Browser” and then “About Avast Secure Browser”
  3. Click on “Diagnostic Information” (this will open a pop-up window)
  4. Click the “COPY TO CLIPBOARD” button to capture the information and paste it here.

Could you please try to disable extension Anti-Fingerprinting?

Goto secure://extensions , identify Anti-Fingerprinting (se above) and disable it

I have been able to re-create the issue you described, and am working diagnosing it right now, I hope we will be able to find a solution soon.

Hi, I go to secure://extensions and it shows nothing.

After I enable the “developer mode”, it shows some item to disable.

But there doesn’t exist an item called “Avast 防指紋辨識”.

I had the same problem.
I opened the address: secure://flags and changed option show internal extensions to enabled.
Extension Anti-Fingerprinting is now visible

Change in AntiF details: Allow in Private Mode from on to off and D+ is now works good in Private Mode.
