I can't get my firewall to work

So I bought the new licence for year couple of days ago, then I noticed that my firewall wasn’t on so I clicked to put it on. Well it said “Unable to start Firewall!” Does anybody know why it does not start?

And another was that when I bought the licence and updated Avast, my Keyboard stopped working but I have already resolved it…

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Well I tried this but it is still saying “Unable to start Firewall!” and on the top of that it made my keyboard stop working…again, any other suggestions?

Try a clean install.

Download and save http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

Reboot into safe mode>Run uninstaller for each version of avast you have>reboot into normal mode>install the version of avast you selected
above>register(Free)/insert license (Pro, AIS or Premier)>reboot :slight_smile:
