I just joined the forum and am hoping,with your help, i can resolve this.
Avast found a virus. When i delete it Avast keeps telling me to do the reboot scan but when i do it comes back.
This is it’s name C/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS 87e3f23d.sys
Would much appreciate any help.
I forgot to say that the last reboot thing i did with Avast when it told me revealed nothing, yet it still detects it when i get back to desktop.
What is the virus name of the file? Check your warning log.

I cant find the specific log but i found something in BFfiledel notpad and its the same really. This is it +C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\87e3f23d.sys
That bffiledel is in the same folder you mentioned. Can’t find warning log though.
Just nowI just right clicked on the suspicious file and used avast and it said it cant find the specific file but its there.

I think i found the warning log. I’ll copy and paste. the last few things on it but i thinbk i got rid of the other viruses on this log, its possibly just that one left.
