I have installed avast on a new computer but I can’t get the icon to come up in the bottom right hand corner that says its running all the time. Help!
In Windows XP, the icons could be hidden, and you need to uncheck that option clicking with the right-button on the menu, going on properties and unchecking the Hide Unused Icons option.
If that doesn’t work, execute the file ashDisp.exe on the Alwil Software/Avast4 Folder.
