I can't register

When I want register I have a ashUInt error “aucune association d’application n’a été trouvée pour l’extension du fichier indiqué”.
How can I register?

Are you refering to the INSTALL process (Windows Registry operation) or the registration at avast site for a LICENSE KEY?

Is this when you enter the registration key ?
Is the file C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashUInt.dll present ?

Try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow. You need to be on-line to do this.
If that doesn’t work try, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot.

How are you trying to enter the registration key ?

  • cut and paste, ensure there are no spaces after the key.
  • typing in key, try a cut and paste to avoid error in input.
