when i try to uninstall mcafee security scanner, it says micrsoft edge cannot read and write to its data directory.
mcafee just showed up, not sure how it got there, i do not recall even seeing an option to click on it.
You are aware that Avast has nothing to do with McAfee ?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member, so I can’t speak for them.
Nor have I ever had McAfee, but I have zero idea why Microsoft Edge is involved either.
