I don’t know what happened. I can’t update AVAST. Looks like options: iAVS Update and Program Update are inactive. When I choose one from this options then nothing happened. I think it begins after my last update (1.06.2004 file ver:0423-0). Should I reinstall AVAST? Thanks for help.
If you’re having problems updating Avast I’d say yes to reinstalling. I’d uninstall the one you have now and I’d even delete the old directory it was in. After that I’d do a clean install and make sure you can update it. 
First try to use Repair function in Add-Remove Programs utility. Sometimes it helps and its faster than full reinstall
i am having the same problem,whne it tries to up date it tells me the package is broken,i have tried to repair with no luck.if i have to redownload will i have to get a new lic number?
No,you can use current license number as long as its valid (logical isn’t it

Either, you can register again without downloading the setup file…
