I would be very grateful if someone could help me please.
I paid for the full version of Avast internet security, 1 yr subscription for up to 3pc’s.
I did this on my mum’s PC who has BT broadband and it fully installed without any problem. I then forwared the email from Avast containing the licence onto my email. When I got home I then opened up that email on my PC, clicked on the licence file within the email and downloaded the full version onto my PC.
The full version installed without any probem on my PC and I restarted my PC as promted. Then I had a problem, I am on Sky bradband and when I try to open any web page with the full version installed I get the ‘unable to display page error’ on any web site i try to open. The internet is connected, so it seems that there is something conflicting somewhere. I did remove any previous anti virus software I previously had installed. This only happen with the full paid version of Avast installed, it all works fine with the free trail version.
I want to use the full version I paid for but once installed on my PC I then cant open any web pages?
