I’ve read in another topic in this board that I should not delete the virus/worm when avast finds one. I’ve always deleted it, in fact I just deleted another virus/worm that was found.
I know it’s not a wise idea to do that, but I do it anyways. How do you guys deal with the virus that you find? I know we can either repair it, find out more information on the virus/worm to see how to manage and treat it.
Just curious to find out what others do and any advice you can give is always nice.
It’s always best to put them in the vault, just in case the detection is a false alarm and you need to recover the file.
Besides, you can check on your collection of viruses in the vault from time to time and poke them with a stick for amusement. 
Well, you can wonder at he extent to which some people put their creative abilities to malicious end, at least. >:( ???
Like Frank said, it’s better send the file to Chest for further analysis.
You can rescan and check after one or two weeks and then decide.
