hprbupdate.exeoca9_22eo_4r04_bfee_7c3e208317 that is as far as I get before it disappeared. my computer was on and I was away from it. it was also connected to the internet. I Saw it come up on the screen if you started this click continua and I did not start any thing I copy as much of it as I could before it disappeared. I am glad I saw this because my husband would have click OK thinking it was and update from HP. can some one tell me what that might have been?

I thought it might be some thing bad because I did not have anything started today and it said if I started it to click continue. I thought it might have some thing to do with a virus. about 9 month ago I thought it had some thing to do with the avg when I got some thing that said if I started this to click continue and I saw it had the 4 small color squares like avg. when i click continue on that it was a virus. it had a bunch of letter like that. I just did not want to make the same mistake twice… if it was something to do with my printer can I just update the printer and get it to update what I did not accept.? I hope I just made a little sense

I did a hp update and it said I was updated already. if the printer witch is a hp like my computer wouldn’t have know if the hp printer needed an update.

It may have been that the HP updater might have been attempting to update according to its own schedule, and for some reason (internet off, printer off, who knows…) it was unable to complete its task. That sort of message, (in very general terms because its hard to know what the message said) can be because of that, or it could be because of a problem trying to load an update module.
Sorry, can’t be much more help than that.
Have you run a check disk in the past month or so? Can’t remember if that is one of the things we might have got you to do.

I do a update on HP and Windows Vista about 4 times a month and both are Set\t to do a auto update if I forget and that may be some times I miss one week. it does not do it own update offten because I general do it 1st. thanks Sharon :slight_smile:
