Ever since I removed AVG and installed AVAST when I click on a music file that I downloaded to play it
it immediately starts playing. When I had AVG installed there was always a delay.
Is this a complaint or a recommendation ?
avast shouldn’t make any difference to music loading or playing as it just scans. So is avast scanning your downloaded file before it plays (check the detailed view of the Standard Shield Last scanned: value).
Also it isn’t clear if this is something that is downloaded and played immediately or a file that you have downloaded is on your HDD and you later play it ?
Doesn’t sound like a complaint to me…
Having given up on AVG myself I have learned that things to load faster with Avast! than they did with AVG… :D
Doesn’t sound like a complaint to me either…
This isn’t a complaint. I thrilled that its doing this now. As far as I know it must be
AVAST. That was the only change I did to my computer.
Just faster scanning then if the file is being scanned first.
Another sign of the superiority of Avast! to AVG…

I must also agree with the avast scanning, once you have it on your system
it seems to learn your system and adjust itself, this is just my opinion,
but it has been much friendlier on my system than anything else.
However, I personally do not mind the occasional pause as it works, this just lets me know that it is scanning
and keeping my system safe. For my system, any pause that I have seen in nothing more than a second or two.
Not bad considering all the stuff I have running on my system…lololol
