I followed the email instructions for the new Avast cleanup and nothing happened

The email has the following instructions:

My PC didn’t restart so I clicked on (If the automatic activation doesn’t work, please follow this tutorial.)

I got the activation code, clicked on “Settings”, but there is no “Registration” on the left as depicted in the tutorial.
