Yesterday I realised that I got installed in my Avast Secure Browser an extension called “coupons”, probably no more than 2 or 3 days ago. In the extensions of my browser says that it has been installed by Avast and I cannot remove it, just disable it. I didn’t get any notice or nobody asked me for my permission to install it. I don’t know if this extension really comes from Avast, or if it is a safe extension. In the description of the extension says: View the top coupons on shopping sites and have them automatically applied at checkout to help you maximize savings . The thing is that when I buy something in internet I have to put my personal details and the details of my debit card, and I don’t trust much. I don’t know even if these coupons work or maybe they are just useless. Please, does some of you know about this extension? or have installed this extension in Avast Secure Browser? Does this extension really come from Avast? Do you think that is this a virus? Is there a way to get rid of this? The only solution that I find is to disable it, that will be safe enough?
