I had 3 warnings from one site!

Avast caught all 3. I immediately moved them to chest. When all 3 warnings popped up I was looking at birthday graphics from this site: myhotcomments.com .
1st warning : HTML:Iframe-inf
2nd: JS:Downloader_AE[trj]
3rd: JS:Pdfka-BG[Expl]

WOW if that site name doesn’t bring you out in a sweat I don’t know what would.

I had a quick rummage round but didn’t bump into what you did, but you didn’t give a specific URL, change the http part of the URL to hXXp and post the location.

Check the avast! Log Viewer (right click the avast ‘a’ icon), Warning section, this contains information on all avast detections. C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashLogV.exe

  • Or check the source file using notepad C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Warning.log

When posting URLs to suspect sites, change the http to hXXp so the link isn’t active (clickable) avoiding accidental exposure.
