i have a new OPS in my old 2002 IBM LAPTOP

Linux and Ubuntu . I here this system is one that geeks use witch I no very little about computer. My nephew fixed this old computer of mine for my birthday last month. and says this is a good and easy OPS for me to use and should be easy like windows use to be to me. I’DE like to know from every one here thinks about this system and is a good and easy one for me to learn? I guess this is the best Way for me to start.

My opinion is that KDE is easier to learn. So, I think it’s better (easier) Kubuntu than Ubuntu.
But, look, it’s a new OS… the learning curve is not that short…

before this system I have now I did not know there was so many different kinds of OPS that a lot of people have not herd of. I guess part of the reason is like mine is a totally free OPS. is your a free OPS too? I am not good at doing any kind of work on the computer. in a way I like to try the one you are using but like I said I am no good at working on computer in that matter. I will keep your OPS name and at any time I need to change for any reason I will try yours. I am mainly wantting to here what other think and maybe that well help me in the future…

Hi Sharon…

The “witch” you are referring to is spelled “which.”

I’m not sure how easy it will be for you, especially in the beginning, but it will be an adventure!

God bless
