on my start bar there a 2 blue balls for Avast , one says i on it and one says a on it. are they suppose to be there? the “a” says 7 providers total 6 running . Is it anything to worry about ? Thank you . Roz
Yes they are supposed to be there, you can merge them into one, right click on the ‘i’ icon and select merge. You would then have an additional right click menu item (VRDB) in the avast ‘a’ icon.
Unless you have MS Outlook (not express) then the Outlook/Exchange provider won’t be running.
The provider will run automatically when you open MS Outlook (if you have it).
I do have out look express .
Which, as I said doesn’t use the Outlook/Exchange provider, so that provider won’t be running.
Unless you have MS Outlook ([b]not express[/b]) then the Outlook/Exchange provider won't be running.
The Internet Mail provider covers Outlook Express.
