I got this Trojan Virus from a ‘Noble Poker’ program I haven’t used in years. My Norton Anti-Virus and XsoftSpySE wont get rid of it. Is there anyone out there that can help me remove it before my computer crashes?
Hi micah,
Here you can find the cleansing routine for this type of malware:

polonus
Personally I would get rid of Norton, closely followed by xoftspy if your spelling is a typo and there shouldn’t be an s in the application name.
If however the spelling is correct, a google search for xsoftspyse returns many hits most relating to warez downloads with cracks, etc. this could come with its own surprise package.
I’ve searched for XsoftSpySE into RogueRemover database and found nothing.
Anyway, if you’re using NAV, why are you trying to ask for help on avast forums?
There might be nothing about it in the rogueremover database nor I believe in the SpywareWarrior site but google has many, many links about this being associated with warez and cracks to be concerned with the location it was downloaded from.
I don’t think Spyware sweeper is free…
Although, micah can test AVG Antispyware, SUPERantispyware, Spyware Terminator and/or a-squared.
Why doesn’t micah come back to his own thread? ???
Why doesn't micah come back to his own thread?
Because micah was a spammer. His partner was supposed to spam a link after micah’s set up, as happened here:

Note the post was identical:

Watch out for this sort of tactic in the future.
If he is spamming, why is he doing it what is there to gain from it?
