what is the deal with all the popup ads today? I have had 3 in a matter of minutes. If there is more stuff being sold to go with this, it should be called Avast Basic.
You can disable the ads in the paid versions: Avast GUI → Settings → Personal Privacy
In all honesty, ALL this stuff, be it free or Premium version should be asked upfront when installing avast!. I’ve always defended avast! with “There are settings for it, just change them”, but you’d think avast! team would make more effort after the whole Jumpshot thing not long ago.
I’d often share my app usage so devs could make it better, but seeing how in 99% of the time it’s done by 3rd party tools, usually some Google’s junk, I prefer just not to.
