On 17/08, an invoice for 72 euros was charged to me via PayPal when I don’t have any subscriptions with Avast.
Looking at the help they provide on their website, I’ve searched in the history but nothing comes up, just like in subscriptions. I can’t find a way to contact someone to have this looked into. It hasn’t been 30 days yet, and it seems like a serious mistake to be charged when I’m not receiving any service and it doesn’t show up in the application.
If there’s any hidden subscription, I would like to cancel that as well.
How can I get in touch with someone to resolve this issue and not feel like I’m being scammed?
I’m using an AI to translate the messages as my English level is very low. If there’s any translation problem, please let me know, and I will try to find a different way to translate it.
If the e-mail address you use on this forum is different from your Paypal address, it’s normal that you won’t see anything in your avast account history.
So, if the addresses are different, you’ll need to :
either create a new account using the address linked to your Paypal account
or change the current main address of your avast account (in the current account settings) to the one linked to Paypal.
Once you’re in your (new) avast account, you should see the elements relating to this subscription (invoice, order number to be used for a refund). You can also delete the subscription (imperative if you don’t want to be invoiced again next year).
If the addresses are the same, use the procedure given by MrDJ

If you have had an email looking like it was from PayPal, always be alert to scams.
We assume you have signed-in to your PayPal account, and found the avast debit payment there.
