I have no HELP feature on my AVAST installation -- and BBC iPlayer has stopped

I would like to removed my installation of Avast because:

  1. there appears to be no HELP. When I click on the “?” nothing happens.
  2. on the same day of installation, my BBC iPlayer has stopped working.

I want either clear instructions on how to fix this or I want this OFF my computer immediately. I want a PERSON to talk to in order to remove it and I want it NOW.

I am very dissatisfied.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Need to know a few things before clear instructions can be given. As for someone to talk to, (as in via telephone) I am unable to oblige, personally, as I don’t work for the company.

Can you advise your operating system (including service back), and the RAM and CPU of this system?
What version of Avast have you installed, the url it came from, and what other security software is installed, please.

What was the last AV you had installed, and how was it removed?

Have you got any system restore points before you put avast on your computer and restore xp or vista from there?. Have you had any other antivirus on your computer before avast?.
