I dont know why the icons show like this

Right-click the taskbar and try ticking “Use small icons” via Properties>Taskbar tab>Click OK (in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties). Does resizing the pinned icons change their appearance? Does right-clicking the desktop and selecting “Refresh” make a difference? Rebooted?
