I think when I downloaded one of Jakes hook songs it downloaded Itune a long with the song.
when I was having trouble with the media and quickplayer it must have taken the windows media place. when I put a music CD in that one pops up to play any CD I put in and I cannot recall how to change it to where media player will play instead. can some one help me with that? I have one more question to ask but it is about quick player and I did mention it in I think in one of my last posts I wrote. when were threw with the media player I will ask the quickplayer question.

I will look more on the URL that is in one of the posts above but I do not think it is going to tell me how to make windows media player my default player. as for the right click I see no open with and if there was I would not know what to put in the box to open it with. below is the rest of the media player stuff. some is the updated version and some the old one. don’t know how to tell the different. can you tell witch one to delete? the rest

Yeah,you are probably right.
I just thought a Microsoft help article entitled
“Set Windows Media Player 11 as Your Default Digital Media Player”
complete with screen shots,might be in some measure germane.
I Thought I would start back here this morning, but you do not say what to type in after you click start. this sounds like a simple way to do it, just don’t know what to type in the space.

I’m using Windows 7 and there is a part named Default Programs two rows below Control Panel in the Start menu. i’m sure in Windows XP and Vista it exists in the Start menu as well. but i dunno what that part is called (maybe just the same name) coz my XP and Vista are only in Turkish.
or you can access Default Programs via Control Panel. if you don’t use classical appearence in Control Panel, you’ll see the icon of Default Programs. if the features are viewed by categories, click Programs link, it is there (at least in Windows 7 it is so).
Yes I should have thought to mention I am using windows vista. after I red every thing this morning I had a couple of things I had to handel 1st and had to wait awhile before i was able to get back to the computer I remember about the default now when I came back I had remember that I wrote default programs in the search box. then I felt like a fool because I did not remember how to do a very simple task. I do thank all of you for help
with quick player I use to have it where when it open it would go to full screen and when you click esc it would go to 1/4 of the screen and would not show all the extra stuff that would be at the top and the bottom as well as the left side and the back ground on the screen. can some one help me to get it to look like that again please I am not sure if I explane it to you right. let me know I will try to clarify
