Okay. So my laptop just infected by thousand virus lately and I dont even know if these virus are sneaking and killing me. Once in a night I turned on my laptop and start the windows 7 (Not safemode)
After I log in my account, it says “preparing your desktop” and all of sudden this “mcpnotify.exe has stopped”
and “userinit.exe has stopped” before preparing your dekstop is done. And after it was done, blank screen pops up with a cursor, I was trying to CTRL+ALT+DEL but something says that I am unable to do that.
By the way, I’m guessing that my computer is infected by Vitro and no way to remove / fixing them.

I need your help. Please response to this topic as fast as possible. Thanks,

if you dont have anything important on it, best is format/reinstall

Backup important data on an external Drive regularely to prevent data loss.

In this case its the best to format and reinstall…sorry

No this is not a new computer. I just need an instructions to format and reinstall.

that is why you have to format reinstall.......

many computers have a restore partition on disk that will sett it back to factory specc… but since you dont tell us what ?

google how to do it…also search youtube for how to do video

Okay … I got a windows 7 disc but never used it before, can I use this to replace the factory’s windows 7?

Everything thats important from any harddrive C:,D: or whatever drive to one thats external and disconnect it when not used, cause some viruses infect connected drives as well.

If you put in the disc it should start from it, then you just go to install Windows, select all drives
and click format at the bottom.

Then install it normally.

Be sure to have everything important off the computer cause it will be destroyed forever, no chance to restore it.

But can you please tell us the manufacturer of the computer? (HP, Dell, Toshiba…)

Laptops normally come with a restore partition.
Reset the laptop to factory defaults.
Read on the manufacturers website how to do it.
