k… i found 4 files in my virus chest. 1 is infected c:\programfiles\commonfiles\rldnhlap\tjrrnrjn\nctjfrnh.exe that one is infeceted with the win32: Trojano-324 [Trj]
theother 3 i dont know why they are there… wsock32.dll, kernel32.dll, and command.com … i’m just so lost. what do i do with those ones? it says there’s no virus on any of those.
Solacetiger, you have groups of files into Chest.
The ones into ‘Infected files’ group you can delete (if you want).
The ones into ‘System files’ are just backup if you get infected sometime. So never mind…
Where are the three files you’ve mentioned?
wsock32.dll, kernel32.dll and command.com

i deleted the infected one. the other 3 are kernel32.dll, command.com, and wsock32.dll … says there’s no virus atached. they are in the system files group.
So, like I said… let them there… they are clean (just for backup purposes).

for command.com all it says for original location is C:
kernel32.dll it says C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
wsock32.dll it says C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

thanks… i’ve had avast for abit now… just never had need to post… it seems everything went haywire when i accidenly uninstsalled google popup blocker for IE. do you know of any FREE firewalls… good ones maybe?
Some good firewalls are, Sygate,Zone alarm and outpost
