This Virus is infected in my computer " BV:AutoRun-E [Wrm] " I cant remove it even i move to chest / delete it wnt go away every few min it pop up it say detected virus " BV:AutoRun-E [Wrm] " (it’s a worm / virus) strangest thing is it’s location is at C:/Autorun.inf ???

what is your Avast version? new version should detect more than the autorun via the antirootkit module…

I have exactly the same problem. :cry: Picked it up somewhere yesterday. My version is Avast 4.8 home edition.

Avast picks it up when I scan but can’t seem to get rid of it. :cry: Please, please help me, I am very worried as I keep on getting blue screens and would really appreciate it if I don’t have to format my hard drive.

I am not very savvy when it comes to viruses and their removal so help would really be appreciated.

C:\ drive isn’t a flash drive, the flash disinfector won’t work.

so how wat should i do now ? now its even in my USB = = " " do i use this Flash Disinfector ?

If FlashDesinfector already work, I suggest:

  1. Clean your temporary files.
  2. Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on. If avast does not detect it, you can try DrWeb CureIT! instead.
  3. Use SUPERantispyware, MBAM or Spyware Terminator to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, better and safer is send the file to Quarantine than to simple delete than.
  4. Test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest avast! antirootkit or Trend Micro RootkitBuster.
  5. Make a HijackThis log to post here or this analysis site. Or even submit the RunScanner log to to on-line analysis.
  6. Disable System Restore and then reenable it again.
  7. Immunize your system with SpywareBlaster.
  8. Check if you have insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector.

i’m infected with that virus to. what can i do to erase it? I don’t want to format my computer :frowning:
