I’m trying to delete a file called Gramblr but it says “you’ll need to provide
administrator permission to delete this folder”.
When I right click on the file and choose Properties > Advanced, it shows
this beside administrators >> C:\Program Data\AVAST software.
How do I get permission back so that I can delete this file?
Hi mchgail,
Welcome.
Where did you get this file? And why are you trying to delete it?
Why not use the more common method of Add/Remove or Programs and Featured to uninstall (your program)?

Avast Version 18.4.2338
The file lets you upload photos to Instagram. I’m deleting it because I no
longer need it.
It’s already removed from Add/Remove but still shows in the registry. It
shows Avast as administrators so I cant delete it there.
I dont have ransomware
