Im having the avwrvrt.sys Issue and need help I was told to use the search but found nothing usefull. I am using vista my problem started today when I was playing world of tanks and my laptop froze so I had no choice but to do a hard shut down after that nothing works It stays at the loading bars forever and In safe mode It stops at aswrvrt.sys I need to know how to delete avast and all Its drivers Note I had no problem In-till I Installed avast before Installing avast I have done countless hard shutdowns with no problem but I have had avast about a week now and my first crash and avast has broke It so can It be fixed

Do you have the Vista CD or is there an option for repair my computer on the safe mode menu ?
It Is my grandparents computer we are staying with them for 2 months. They dont have a windows vista CD and I already tried repair however It gets stuck In an Infinite loading screen or blue screens me.
OK lets us a recovery USB
Download the following three programmes to your desktop : I will send the ISO links by PM select the version you need either 32 or 64 bit
For 64bit systems
2. Windows Vista 64bit RC
3. Farbar Recovery Scan Tool x64
For 32bit systems
2. Windows Vista RC
3. Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
Insert the USB stick Then run Rufus

Select the ISO file on the desktop via the ISO icon.
Press Start Burn

Then copy FRST to the same USB

Insert the USB into the sick computer and start the computer. First ensuring that the system is set to boot from USB

When you reboot you will see this.
Click repair my computer

Select your operating system

Select Command prompt

At the command prompt type the following :
notepad and press Enter.
The notepad opens. Under File menu select Open.
Select “Computer” and find your flash drive letter and close the notepad.
In the command window type e:\frst64.exe and press Enter
Note: Replace letter e with the drive letter of your flash drive.
The tool will start to run.
When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.

Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the flash drive. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
Ok when I try booting from usb It tells me windows Is loading files then It goes to the standard windows loading bars then I gives me a black screen with back lights and the mouse
When you get to safe mode menu is there a command prompt option ? If so can you get to the command prompt as you will need to run chkdsk
