First I suggest you remove your email addresses we don’t need them to show you how to do this and secondly they are likely to be harvested by a spambot in what are publicly available web pages.
Open your my.avast.com account using your browser, click the email address at the top right of the page - select Manage Emails - add the new email address - now set that email address as the default email address.
I’ve tried that and it just doesn’t work!
Did you receive a verification email when you created the new email address ?
You should have received one and used the link to confirm you are the rightful owner of the email. Once confirmed then the email is or should be available, to be set as the default.

I still can’t receive the confirmation email to set up or change my default email address.
It’s been reported more than onece but so far, no reply from Avast.

I guess that you were trying to add email which is already in our database.
There was wrong notification about that 
Now it should be fixed.

They now show up as already used but, I never received a notification and these email addresses don’t show on my account ???
