I need to contact someone in a SENIOR position in avast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal avast user for at least 10 years, and of those I have been using the PAID software for at least 4 years. Seeing as LOYALTY does not mean a damn these days, avast saw fit to label me as “BLACKLISTED” because your staff made a blunder and refunded me the payment I made for the renewal of an avast license and for EasyPass. All I said was that I was not happy with EasyPass, had uninstalled it, and requested that they refund me the money for the EasyPass package.

The TOTAL amount was refunded and thus I got BLACKLISTED!!! I cannot reach anyone in authority, and now I have to live with this smear against my name.

I have one valid license left, and guess what I will be doing when that expires???

nospmas1939.

It’s just your subscription/license blacklisted and not you as a person. My license was blacklisted when I requested to have Avast Internet Security downgraded to Avast Pro Antivirus. They blacklisted AIS and sent me a Pro license.

Your money was returned in full so the license should no longer be valid and that is what was blacklisted.

Please see image.

Obviously, I have to draw pictures to explain myself because, Charyb, if comprehension was not a problem, you would have realised that there were 2 (TWO) problems in my initial message…

  1. My payment was for the renewal of a license AND EasyPass. All I asked for was the refund for EasyPass, and not the renewal license!!!

  2. “Blacklisted” in my parlance is not something I take lightly; maybe you do, but I DO NOT!!!

Well l’ll tell you what I can’t comprehend, And that is why you would personally attack someone who was simply providing information about a similar situation in the hopes it may clear up “an honest human error” and that was you got more then you asked for.
Well so much for my comprehension. ::slight_smile:

@ nospmas1939,
Actually, you didn’t get blacklisted.
What was blacklisted (Can no longer be used) was the license for which you received a refund.
What got your goat was the term blacklisted. That wasn’t directed at you but at the license.
It can’t be used again and is no longer valid - hence, blacklisted.

Well Bob, unless I’m using someone elses glasses, I read Charyb saying the same thing, lol
