I registered with a wrong email

Just as the title describes, I think I entered my email wrong when I registered for AVAST Free Antivirus, because I didn’t get an email confirming that I registered for AVAST
(we do get an email for that, right?), and I couldn’t login to the Avast Support Center with my correct email.

So, is there a way I can change my registered status or does it really matter at all?

I didn’t get any email either and no, it doesn’t matter (assuming you registered via the Avast GUI).

Check on the interface under “maintenance>registration” and, provided you registered via the GUI it should show an expiry date about a year ahead.

please assist me to get my activation code i was put wrong email address during the registration.

It would have been best to create your own new topic than open one that is almost 7 years old as much has changed.

Try the following: https://support.avast.com/support/tickets/new?form=2 this is a billing form and will ask for things you can’t give because you didn’t enter the correct email, like order ID, etc.

Give as much information as you can (including the correct email which may help if you made a typo).
