I renewed the license before expiring and lost the remaining days

After getting a pop-up window from the Antivirus (Internet Security) saying that my license was about to expire (13 days left), and renew it for 2 years, I have lost the remaining 13 days from my previous license. The pop-up window clearly said that I wouldn’t lost any of the missing days from my current license (clearly a lie). Did anyone suffer the same problem? How did you solve it?
