i think avast is preventing me from sending replies on gmail

I dont why for a while now gmail keeps failing to send replies and only works when i send a new message . I keep getting the message save failed and when i tried to send it i get Error Oops… a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007). I’m not sure whats causing this but it keeps happening to me frequently . I think it could be avast .

Pleas go to Settings->General and uncheck the option to add signatures to emails. That should solve the problem.

Settings>General> on AVAST? When I go there I don’t see an option for add signatures to emails…and I don’t add signatures…?

I unchecked the signature under general and reinstalled the email shield…AND IT WORKS!!! Thank you so much!!!
