Recently i have been getting messages from people on my MSN list i haven’t spoken to in years. in fact i know that one of my contacts has not logged into his MSN for a year.
These messages are always spam and obviously i have not clicked any of the links they sent, but i keep running all my virus scans after i get one and they come up empty.
Anyone have the same problem or any suggestions?
Those people are infected by a virus.It sends links to every contact in his list.Don’t click or you’ll be infected.And Its not your MSN that has a virus.It
just people’s computer are infected you could tell them that they have a virus.
I’m not too sure. I just got one, from another friend who also hasn’t logged in for a long time. Has anyone else run into this? Constant spam from friends?
These sites take their passwords and log in to the accounts when they’re not online an send out messages. Just dont click any of the links and ur good. I get them all the time.
If you want to, you can tell those friends to change their MSN passwords. That should help prevent them from sending more messages with the malicious links in it.
You can also tell them about avast, and this forum, so that we might help them clean up their computers to stop spreading those links.
